In this madcap comedy, four people with diverse methods and agendas pull off a jewel heist in London. One of them gets arrested for the crime, and while the others have a plan to prevent his conviction, they’re all simultaneously trying to double-cross each another and collect the loot. The accused is represented by a dignified barrister, played by John Cleese of Monty Python fame, and meddling with his strict scruples is an important – and hilarious – part of the effort.
