Two straight women wonder if they might have missed out on enjoying some bi-curious escapades in their youth. Wanting to know what the experience would have been like, they kiss. The universe is upset! One woman’s husband disappears (but his dog is OK), thunder and lightning occur, and time portals open to let visitors from the past arrive. Can the Amish set everything straight without using the Internet before the gay police from Cincinnati arrest everyone? Drink your anti-aging formula, lock your barn, and row your boat – everybody’s going on a strange ride in this feature. The plot is no crazier than Einstein’s “spooky action” theory of particles affecting each other even over cosmic distances, to which the title and a bit of dialogue both allude (but don’t expect to understand it unless you’re a quantum physicist). If you like your movies wild, crazy, imponderable, and rather cute, this is one you shouldn’t miss.
