Explore the phenomenon of Bronies: men who are dedicated fans of the animated TV series My Little Pony. The show is full of pastel-colored characters and scenery and feel-good stories that most people associate with audiences of little girls, but its consistently positive messages about harmony and community give it a much wider appeal. One of the actors who provides the voices of two characters (Apple Jack and Rainbow Dash) is invited to the BronyCon event in New York City. The film follows her as she researches the Brony movement (of which she was largely unaware before the invitation arrived) and prepares to attend and meet her fans. Overall this documentary offers plenty of surprises and may even persuade you to check out an episode or two the series.
