Día de Muertos Altars and Celebration!

The first ODC field trip will be in MEXICO! ...sort of.
The Consulate of Mexico has welcomed the Orlando Death Collective to join their annual Día de Muertos event! The event will include several decorated ofrendas (altars) honoring departed loved ones, and there'll be a vote to choose the best one. The event will also have food and music.
To join in the celebration, I'm bringing a mini ofrenda with the theme of the "rainbow bridge" to honor lost pets. If you'd like to attend this event, you can bring a photo of your pet to place on the altar, or send me a photo and I'll print it for you! Because I am not hosting this event, I'd like to invite a smaller group, so please RSVP if you're sure you can join! I'd like to be respectful of the event size and other guests, and I really look forward to seeing how other cultures honor their departed. I hope to see you there!
