About us

Welcome to our community — a safe space for people building a meaningful life after the Watchtower.
We understand the grief that comes with losing cherished relationships. We have walked a similar path. But we’re also here to form new, genuine connections and rediscover who we truly are beyond the trauma of our past.
Your privacy matters. Feel free to use a pseudonym or attend anonymously. We respect every path people take — whether you’ve formally disassociated, been disfellowshipped, or are quietly fading with the hope of preserving some family ties. No judgment, only understanding.
Are you a doubting or curious Jehovah’s Witness? You are not alone. You’re part of the silent majority. You owe it to yourself to listen to your conscience and “make sure of all things.” Truth can withstand honest scrutiny. If fear is holding you back, know that many of us were once in your exact position.
Many in this group were raised as Jehovah’s Witnesses. Some of us served as pioneers, elders, and ministerial servants. We know how difficult the transition can be — and we’re here to support you with compassion and zero pressure as you navigate this new chapter.
If you’d like to connect anonymously, feel free to email us at libby@listeningtreestudio.ca.
You’re welcome here exactly as you are. We’re glad you found us.
If you want to arrange an in-person event, please let me know, and it can be set up for you.
