Late notice, however some people missed out on our first walk for The Great North Walk. This is also a holiday weekend, so we understand if you can't make it.

Meeting point is Macquarie Place Park in the City (off Bridge St) at the Obelisk

This first section is from Circular Quay to North Ryde station, so public transport to get back to the start or back home. I usually park at North Ryde (Plassey Rd and the end of this walk), and get the Metro to Martin Place and a short walk to the start. That train is 8:00am

Late start as we have to catch a ferry and the first one only leaves at 8:45am (so bring an Opal card too) Alternative meeting point is Woolwich Ferry stop at 9:09am
Walking distance is just a bit over 12km, and this first stage is not very hilly at all. It is mostly suburban, so just wear walking shoes.
No cost to attendees.
