Part 2
The plan over winter is to walk all of the Georges River from Sea (Botany Bay) to Source (somewhere near Appin in Sydney's south)
All up about 96 km, split into stages.
Second stage is keeping it public transport friendly.
So, we are walking from Woolooware Station to Hurstville station.
This is a mix of some urban walks, some shared walking/bike paths and some parks.
So you don't need any hiking gear, just walking shoes, 2-3 liters of water, hats (yes you can get sun-burnt in winter)
You get some history, some urban walks, and definitely good company.
This is pretty flat - so 15-ish KM is OK for this group.

Start is WhatThreeWords. Which you can use in your favourite navigation app to find us. More simply Wills Rd side of the station

Public Transport
Train from Central to Woolooware is Platform 19 at 6:52am - gets in at 7:55am
There are other options from elsewhere. Please comment if that is your plan.
Driving
I may park near Hurstville station and get the train from Platform 2 at 7:16am to also get to the start at 7:55am. There is some parking near Woolooware as well, and you can get a train back to the start. For parking - allow extra time, as this is never guaranteed.
