Off the Apps: Adulting is Hard & Making Friends Shouldn't Be

Details

Tired of waiting 3 weeks to get dinner with one of your available friends?

Does your social life now require a Teams meeting to align calendars?

Are dating apps starting to feel like a punishment for being emotionally stable?

Or do you just need an excuse to put pants on after working remote?

Because same!

That's why Off the Apps, On the Rocks was created.

This is for adults who are doing the most - raising kids, running the world, juggling deadlines, but still want to have fun like we used to, back when breaking curfews and laughing until it hurt didn't require 48 hours of recovery time.

**What to Expect: **

  • A laid-back night out with casual adults who can carry a conversation (hopefully).
  • No ghosting, no pressure, and you're responsible for your own tab.
  • New friends, real talk, dark humor, and maybe even someone to flirt with (if that's your thing).

What to Bring:

  • A readiness to talk about life beyond small talk.
  • Your "I'm still fun" energy.
  • Your own way to pay.
  • Optional: a craziest adulting fail story

**How to Find the Group: **
I'll be in the back by the water. Look for new people standing around like they're on a blind date.
Saying you're here for Off the Apps is your all-access pass to join the new cool club.

Vibe Rules:

  • No politics, no pitches, no weird vibes.
  • Be kind, be real, be someone you'd want to sit next to at brunch.
  • And hey... buy your host a drink if you're appreciative.
