Route: ~30 km | ~300m elevation | approx. 2.5 hours

The route is just an idea. We'll decide on the spot based on who shows up and what makes sense. Medium difficulty, nothing extreme, but you should be comfortable riding off-road.

We meet at 13:00 at the Tierpark entrance. Weather forecast says sunny, trails should be dry.

RSVP Expectations: Only sign up if you actually want to participate. If you signed up, show up. Cancel at least 24 hours in advance if plans change. Be on time. No-shows may be removed from the group. Passphrase: "What doesn't kill you might make you crippled."

Please bring:

• A smile and good mood
• Mountain bike (hardtail or fully)
• Helmet, glasses, gloves (mandatory)
• Water, snacks, spare tube or repair kit
• Appropriate clothing for the weather
• Charged mobile phone

Cancer Sucks Riding Rocks - Charity Bike Ride [Carpool]

Road trip to Franconia. Bikes on the roof. Charity on the agenda.

CancerSucksRidingRocks (CSRR), 3rd edition. Charity bike ride where 100% of the entry fee goes to the José Carreras Leukämie-Stiftung. We're piggybacking on an event organized by a fellow biker and friend of mine.
Official route is ~90 km / ~1,000 m elevation. We're expats, so rules are just suggestions. We'll cut the route to something manageable and skip whatever we feel like skipping. Charity ride, not a race. Ride at your own pace. Gravel, e-bike, mountain bike.

Friday, June 19

• 18:00 meet at Pasing Bahnhof
• Bikes on racks, people in cars
• Drive to Pleinfeld (~1.5 hours)
• Check into accommodation

Saturday, June 20

• 08:00 start at Sportheim des 1. FC Pleinfeld
• Ride
• Afternoon/evening drive back to Munich

Costs

• Accommodation: roughly €60 per person, details in the WhatsApp group
• Fuel: split evenly per car

Everything is paid up front. Entry fee goes to the organizer, accommodation and fuel money goes to me. I book for everyone. If you cancel after I've booked, that's your loss.

• 20:00 - Doors open. Clawfinger takes the stage. Nothing going on in your living room tonight.
