About us
Off the Couch Munich is for people who enjoy doing things together - outdoors, active, and fun. We’re a group of internationals and open-minded locals who like spending time in the mountains and trying things that are just more fun with others - hiking, biking, hut weekends, pub games,
laser tag, exhibitions, cinema or the occasional city trip.
We keep things casual and real. No pressure to be super sporty - just come along, join in, and meet people who enjoy being out and about. If you’re into fresh air, good vibes, and shared experiences, you’ll feel at home here.
We're a new group building from the ground up, looking for a core crew of 10-20 people who actually show up regularly, not hundreds of passive members. If you're tired of flaky groups where nobody commits, this is for you. Small, intentional, and consistent.

The long way home along the Isar
Isar (Reichenbachbrücke), Isar (Reichenbachbrücke),, München, DEEveryone else is going straight home from work. We're taking the long way.
About 10 km along the Isar. Flat. Loop, so no one has to plan a getaway.
We pass roughly ten kiosks and beergardens. Each one will try to convince you to sit down. The bet is simple: we keep moving. Sitting down is how walks die. You can drop out at any kiosk, but the group walks on.The WA group for coordination can be found in the comment section.
Route
Meeting point: at the Isar, opposite Kiosk Reichenbachbrücke. Look for the red cap.
Timing: meet from 17:45, walk starts 18:00.Sign up only if you'll come. If you signed up, show up. Be on time. Cancel 24h+ in advance - late cancellations and no-shows may get you removed from the group.

Clawfinger - Before We All Die Tour @ Backstage
Werk, Backstage, Reitknechtstraße 6, 80639 München, München, DEClawfinger... the biggest, the best, better than the rest, one of the hardest-hitting rap-metal bands of the 90s is coming to Munich, and we're not missing it. If you know, you know.
The Plan:
- 18:00 - Meet somewhere near Backstage for food & beers. Location TBD — do what I say and check the WhatsApp group for updates.
- ~19:30 - Head to Backstage Werk.
- 20:00 - Doors open. Clawfinger takes the stage. Nothing going on in your living room tonight.
Important Info:
- Age: 18+ (ID required)
- Dress code: Whatever you want. You don't have to look perfect as long as you're pretty fucking close.
- Tickets: Available at Eventim - get them NOW. Don't wake me up when they're sold out and you missed it.
I am going to create a WA group for coordination.
Note: This is a ticketed concert organized by Backstage Werk, not by our meetup group. We're just going together as a group. Everyone is responsible for purchasing their own tickets and for their own safety/behavior at the venue.
