Hike: Eckbauer to Mittenwald

We'll meet at 08:00 at Pasing Bahnhof and take the RE61 at 08:21 to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From Garmisch we take bus 322 to the Eckbauerbahn cable car and ride to the summit (€16.50 one way). From the top we hike to Mittenwald. Several restaurants along the way for lunch. Please bring cash for lunch and the cable car. From Mittenwald we take the Regionalbahn back to Munich.

RSVP Expectations: Only sign up if you actually want to participate. If you signed up, show up. Cancel at least 24 hours in advance if plans change. Be on time. No-shows may be removed from the group.

The Deutschlandticket is valid on this route. If you don't have one, you'll need to purchase a valid train ticket yourself.

If you arrive by car, you can pick it up on the way back, but you still need a Deutschlandticket.

Please bring:

• A smile and good mood
• Proper hiking boots
• Hiking spikes & gaiters (conditions may be icy/snowy in February)
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Enough water and snacks
• Cash for lunch and cable car
• Charged mobile phone
• Headlamp (just in case)
• Optionally a small first aid kit
