The WA group for coordination can be found in the comment section.
We'll meet at 07:45 at Munich Hauptbahnhof and take the RB57 to Tegernsee at 08:02 (arrives 09:09). From Tegernsee Bahnhof we take bus 356 at 09:17 to Wallbergbahn (arrives 09:37). From there we sneak up on Wallberg from behind: the long, gentler back-side route instead of the steep front climb. Lunch options along the way: Wallberghaus on the route, Panorama-Restaurant Wallberg at the summit. After the summit we take the Wallbergbahn down (€15 one-way) and the same route back to Munich. Please bring cash for lunch and the cable car.
Note: The Setzberg (1,706m) is a short extra summit you can add from the main route if you're feeling strong. The lazy ones can wait in the Wallberghaus. Passphrase: "In cable car we trust."
Sign up only if you'll come. If you signed up, show up. Be on time. Cancel 24h+ in advance — late cancellations and no-shows may get you removed from the group.
The Deutschlandticket is valid on this route. If you don't have one, you'll need to purchase a valid train ticket yourself.
