Off The Record (OTR) is an independent discussion community for people who value honest conversation, critical thinking, and intellectual depth. OTR events are designed as open, respectful spaces to learn new things, explore complex topics beyond slogans, soundbites, or performative debate — with curiosity, nuance, and good faith at the centre.
You don’t need to agree with anyone here. You do need to be willing to listen and to think.

This Off The Record session offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with a sitting MP in an open, unscripted conversation.
Rather than a formal speech, this event is shaped around dialogue, public questions, and honest discussion — covering politics as it is lived and practised today: representation, power, accountability, and the realities of public life.
Expect a grounded, thoughtful exchange — and the chance to ask the questions that don’t usually fit into party soundbites.
