📣🐦‍🔥NEW OTR SESSION on POLITICS

Off The Record returns with a new salon session, exploring Youth, Politics, and Trust — in conversation with Steff Aquarone MP.

Off The Record (OTR) is an independent salon for people who value honest conversation, intellectual depth, and the ability to engage with complex ideas in good faith.
This is not a panel, not a speech, and not a networking event.
It is a small, in-person conversation.

Steff Aquarone MP (North Norfolk) Liberal Democrat MP

This session explores one of the central tensions in modern public life:
why trust in politics is eroding — and what that means for younger generations trying to engage with it.

We’ll look at politics not as an abstract system, but as something lived and navigated in real time —
participation, disillusionment, representation, and the realities of entering public life today.

Format
This is a candid, in-person conversation with Steff Aquarone, where you get to ask the questions directly and engage in in-depth political discussions.

• Questions are encouraged
• Honest answers are expected
• Respect is non-negotiable

You don’t need to be an expert to attend.
Curiosity and willingness to think matter far more than prior knowledge.

You’re not expected to speak if you don’t want to —
listening is a valid way to participate.

You don’t need to agree.
You do need to think.
