Meetup #1 — New approaches in the public sector

In this event, we will hear from 3 organisations on how they work and have developed digital prototypes, products and platforms using approaches reasonably new to the German public sector.

• CityLAB Berlin, Tori Boeck and Tobias Witt on “Understand, then innovate: Prototyping the Bürgeramt of the future”
• DigitalService, Frederike Ramin on “Building a property tax declaration service in less than 6 months that works for its users”
• Liquid Democracy, Carolin Klingsporn and Katharina Lindenlaub on “Agile and open source development with administrations – the example of mein.berlin.de”

All presentations will be given in English. Questions in the later discussion part can be raised either in English or German.
