Kringlecon - SANS Holiday Hack Challenge

SANS Holiday Hack Challenge is a yearly CTF put on by SANS.

It starts sometime in the coming week and runs through the end of the year I believe.

I'm putting in a place holder meetup for an hour every night between 8pm and 9pm for people that want to work together on slack and jitsi.

There is a sans-holiday-hacks channel in slack, and a jitsi meet link there (same as below) if we want to try that for video and speech.

In addition, previous years challenges are online too.

I'm kicking this off on Monday 12/7/2020 to run through 01/01/2021.

Main rule is no trolls (@ch3n0byl/@S4R1N). Lot of people with little to no knowledge, try to be helpful, if you can't be helpful, ask someone else to help the person.

Keeping that in mind if you don't know a lot, challenges are challenging. People probably can't walk you through the whole thing, but ask for help and expect to do a lot of research and experimentation.

If you only do what you can, you'll never be more than you are...so stretch your boundaries, get a little frustrated, learn a few things and you'll be better the next day because of it.
