What we’re about
Offshore Anglers of Pompano Beach Fishing Club, formally Pompano Beach Offshore Anglers (PBOA), was founded in 2003 for the purpose of bringing together fellow anglers in our community. The club seeks to promote camaraderie, skill development, and the preservation of marine resources in South Florida. Guest speakers have included local charter captains, tackle manufacturers, marine mechanics, magazine/TV personalities, and other professionals associated with the marine/fishing industry.
But we are more than just fishing! And you do not have to own a boat to be a club member or join in our events. We also host many social and charity events to raise money for our 501c3, OAPB Fishing Foundation. Everything from casino nights to fish dip competitions to golf tournaments. We like to have fun while also finding ways to give back to the community.
