Outdoor Climbing - Little Cottonwood Canyon Cecret Lake area

Details
Anybody want to get out of this heat? Somewhere, high and cool sounds nice. Alta weather has been averaging about the lows 70's during the day. We'll head up to the Cecret Lake Crag area for some sport and trad climbing. Bring water, snacks, comfortable hiking shoes, etc. DIRECTIONS/HOW TO FIND US: Meet at the Little Cottonwood Canyon Park-N-Ride parking lot. I drive a black Chevy Suburban. There is an amenity fee of $12 per vehicle, so be prepared to carpool up from the parking lot. I can carry five people plus packs. WHAT TO BRING: - helmet - harness - belay device - water - snacks and lunch - medicines you may need - layers of clothes appropriate for the weather - approach shoes (I highly recommend good approach shoes.) Optional (If you have experience leading) - rope - anchor materials with locking carabiners - PAS - personal anchor system - quick draws - trad rack RULES OF THE GAME: This is an outdoor event which carries more risk. We have an accident-free record but can make no guarantees (since rocks can fall, etc.). The biggest detriment to safety is behavior, so please be mindful of your actions and of the people around you.
