Epic Clouds Rest overnight bckpacking trip Yosemite

Details
8/4 edit/add, I increased the attendee limit as two will drive separately and would increase it more depending. Mosquitoes can be a problem this time of year especially near water so bring bug spray or possibly netting. Also a light poncho would be a good idea as afternoon thunderstorms can blow up out of nowhere. We will meet and carpool to Yosemite (2 1/2 hours) use my pass to get in and get a wilderness pass (free). Best case we get Clouds Rest ( see this link https://www.theoutbound.com/yosemite/hiking/hiking-up-clouds-rest), second choice is Glenn Aulin (see this link https://www.theoutbound.com/yosemite/backpacking/backpack-to-glen-aulin) which is also very beautiful. You need all of the backpacking gear (pack, tent, bag, water making food, bear canister) but let me know if your short anything. Yosemite requires a bear canister for food storage and those can be rented however its best if you have one with you to save time at the permit office. This trip will be okay for first timers but the hike to Clouds Rest is pretty demanding so we will go slow. The plan is to pitch camp just before the last ascent and this is not a good hike if you have a fear of heights. I hope the mosquitoes have died off but please plan on them being there. Please come along, you will love it!. Let me know if you have any questions. 510-579-4931 to text. Hope to see you there!, Dave
