Hike from Pantoll on Mount Tam to Stinson Beach and Back

Details
7.4 mile moderate hike from Pantoll Campground to Stinson beach and back via the Matt Davis trail to Stinson Beach then back via Dipsea and Steep Ravine trails. This is a bit challenging and you must be able to climb the makeshift ladder on the Steep Ravine trail. This is a day hike so good boots, 2 liters of water, lunch and snacks should be carried. We will stop at Stinson Beach and get coffee ;) or if time allows we could get food there and walk out to the beach. We will need to make decent time to be able to do that. This is a bit of an aggressive hike so best for regular hikers. It is about a 2,000 foot decent and a 2,000 foot climb back up Steep Ravine trail. We will meet at Pantoll Campground parking lot (see map and park across the street or pay in the parking lot) at 9AM. We can meet near my house in Alameda (corner of Clement and Schiller in Alameda) before 8 AM and carpool there for those who would like to do that.
We will hike down then up, this article has us going up then down, but you can read more about it here. https://www.theoutbound.com/san-francisco/hiking/hike-the-matt-davis-steep-ravine-loop
Hope to see you there, Dave
