We will launch at 9:30 AM, so be arrive early to setup. PFD's must be worn at all times & kayak lengths of 14 foot plus only ... to ensure group speed & congruency. Pace of 3.50/hour approx. Please bring appropriate water, snack and sunscreen.
Since lake shoreline is so long (28 miles), we might visit here again during the year from a different launch area. This paddle will be 10-mile minimum ... perhaps up to 15 miles max.
Launch is from East Marina into the backwaters of Indian Run tributaries and then back into the open lake area. After we finish, let's hit the marina restaurant/cafe for a burger and a beer! Yummy.
