TAPPAN LAKE - 10 Mile Club (14+ foot kayaks)

Tappan Lake spans 2,350 acres & approx 50 miles of scenic shoreline, making it a prime spot for kayaking enthusiasts. This event emphasizes safety and community, offering a chance to paddle through open lake waters and plenty of hidden coves!

Kayakers can enjoy wildlife sightings and peaceful views along the extensive shoreline.

We will launch at 10:00 AM, so be arrive early to setup. PFD's must be worn at all times & kayak lengths of 14 foot plus only ... to ensure group speed & congruency. Pace of 3.50/hour approx. Please bring appropriate water, snack and sunscreen.

Since lake shoreline is long (47 miles), so we might visit here again throughout the year from different launch areas. This paddle will be 10-mile minimum ... perhaps up to 15 miles max.

NOTE: This event is built for speed & distance. If weather is poor, we'll move date to following day (Sun) at same time...
