BERLIN RESERVOIR - Backwaters exploration

Berlin is a massive body of water, but this Wildlife Area is extra special to explore for wildlife, birds, plants, etc. With the water levels being up a bit, we should be able to paddle deep into some of the tributaries and even traverse between the trees!

We'll head out from the boat ramp, across open waters ... then settle into the backwaters area. Plenty of time over 3 hours (approx) on the water for adventure... Then we'll load up & likely head over to Maize Valley Winery & Brewery (6193 Edison St NE, Hartville, OH 44632) for refreshments & social time if desired.

We will launch at 1 PM -- please come early to unload & setup.

NOTE: PFD's must be worn. Bring water, sunscreen & snack.
12 foot (or longer) kayaks work best ... we'll be covering some distance
