Cuyahoga River Paddle: Northampton Point to Boston Store (10 miles)

We’ll paddle between Northampton Point and the Boston Mill

📍 Meeting / Take-out Location:
Boston Mill Visitor Center. We will meet here, then shuttle up to the launch point.

Launch Location:
Northampton Point (3132 Akron-Peninsula Road, just north of West Steels Corners Road)

Time:
Please arrive by 8:00 AM to allow time for unloading and shuttle coordination.

Recommendations:

• A sturdy kayak with decent tracking and stability (ideally 12' or shorter)
• Bring water, snacks, sun protection, and any personal essentials
• We’ll need to self-organize a vehicle shuttle—please be ready to help out

This is a casual meet-up. I’m a fellow paddler—not a guide or certified rescue expert. While I’ve been paddling regularly since 2021, I don’t have formal training in rescue or first aid. This event is weather-dependent. By joining, you assume full responsibility for your own safety.
