4/18 UPDATE: Due to pending thunderstorms, we're moving this event out to 4/24 Friday. Please adjust RSVPs accordingly.
This event takes you on to the canal, to experience Memory Lane & Ohio history! Please arrive early enough to unload and setup. We will launch promptly at 4 PM
At this time of year, the canal water is clear of algae & duckweed that you will typically find during the warm summer months. If you do join us, be prepared with warm clothes (and an extra set in dry bag) and to wear a PFD.
A smaller group is expected... as we're looking to cover at least 10 miles distance and a moderately swift pace. Minimum 12 foot kayak length. 14-16 foot recommended.
Afterwards we can socialize at a local Mexican restaurant or Akron brewery.
