ELDON RUSSELL - 10 Mile Club (14+ foot kayaks)

Join us for a scenic 12-mile out-and-back paddle on the Upper Cuyahoga River, one of Ohio's designated Scenic Rivers. Launching from Eldon Russell Park, we'll follow a historic waterway whose unusual course was shaped by glaciers thousands of years ago. The route winds through quiet wetlands, lily-pad fields, and wooded floodplains rich with wildlife, including herons, turtles, beaver, and muskrats. The gentle current and minimal motorboat traffic make this a relaxing paddle for touring kayaks.

We will launch at 10:00 AM, so be arrive early to setup. PFD's must be worn at all times & kayak lengths of 14 foot plus only ... to ensure group speed & congruency. Pace of 3.50/hour approx. Please bring appropriate water, snack and sunscreen.

This paddle will be 10-mile minimum ... perhaps up to 15 miles max.
