SQL Saturday is a one day community event for professionals and enthusiasts alike to learn about all things Data Platform related. It's a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and your network!

For many years, this event was run under the guidance of PASS, however, with the dissolution of PASS, we are organizing the first Ohio North SQL Saturday since 2019.

Please join us for a full day of free learning, networking, and fun!

Opining remarks will be at 8:15AM followed by the first sessions at 8:30AM.

Power BI Quickstart

Power BI can be confusing at first, because it's made of 3 separate tools that were originally Excel-add-ins. In this training, we'll get you past the hard parts so you can get started as quickly as possible.

First we'll cover how to access and clean your data with Power Query. Then we'll see how to model your data and capture your unique business logic with DAX. Finally, we'll look at how to make the most of visualizing your data in Power BI.

By the end of the training you should know how all the different pieces fit together.
