Winter camping at Okercoke Island

Details
Not sure what is worse; the cabin fever, or Covid Isolation. Or is it a mix of the two that makes this winter so crazy. I am considering a camping trip to Ocracoke Island, North Carolina later this month, or early March. I want to spend 4 to 5 days camping near the beach, just relaxing, enjoying the beach, take the kayak, the bike, the fishing gear, the photography equipment, just get away and see what happens. No concrete plans; I am just putting this out to see if anyone wants to join me.
The weather will be a factor of when I go. I will be watching the ten day forecast, and when a window opens up, I will polish this MeetUp and go. The weather on the Outer-banks can be extreme anytime. I have been there during a Noreaster and it was not fun! Almost always windy (tent campers can use longer tent stakes). The temperature this time of year averages about 40-60 degrees.
I will be taking my Scamp, and parking it at the National Park Campgrounds. https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/232504
I have a park pass and it should cost me $14 (half price) per night. Six people can be at one site. I don't think the showers are heated nor any hot water. There are some very good sea food restaurants close by.
