US Senate environmentalists -- calls, $, by November 4

Details
Hi,
Election day in November 4, 2014.
With control of the U.S. Senate up for grabs this fall, you may wish to give some time (for Get Out The Vote "GOTV" phone calls)or money, or both, to the candidates of your choice. The closing days of the campaign are critical times to get out support.
I am on vacation in Colorado working with the campaign to re-elect Senator Mark Udall of Colorado. Senator Udall is rated highly by the League of Conservation Voters. Moveon has a site you can use to sign-up to make calls for Democratic Senatorial candidates in close races.
Go to Moveon Organization 2014calls .
Being on the East Coast makes it easy to call out west at reasonable hours during the working week - for example 8:30 to 10:30pm in the East is 6:30 to 8:30pm in Colorado. There are several close races this year. For example, former New Hampshire Governor Jean Shaheen, is in a tight race with former Massachusetts U.S. Senator Scott Brown. Brown moved across the border to New Hampshire after being beaten by now-Senator Elizabeth Warren. Of course, you can also contribute money. Such as through:
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Go to DSCC organization slash races
The League of Conservation Voters endorsements for this year are here: See LCV organization slash elections slash endorsements
BTW: I completed the bicycle Climate Ride from New York City to Washington, DC over 5 days in September. Rode my Downtube Nova 7 speed folding bicycle with 20 inch tires, and a SpiderFlex seat. Replaced folding pedals, which broke -- short spindle to allow for folding is bad geometry for strength. High and low gears were not great, but I was able to ride ok. A ride, not a race. Skipped the second day of riding to go with about 25 Climate Riders to the People's Climate March about Climate Change in New York City. Lobbied the U.S. Congress inside the U.S. Capitol Buildings with other Climate Riders from various states the day after the Climate Ride finished outside the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. Best wishes,
Philo
