Dear Members, I'm excited to announce that we are kicking off a series that I've had in mind for a while and it's finally here: Lessons Learned from O&G Entrepreneurs . (I know...not a very original name).

The first speaker we will have the honor to bring to you is Chad Ferrell. Chad has taken time from his busy schedule to selflessly mentor several entrepreneurs and now he will share his experiences with you on leading and starting companies as well as developing and marketing new products over the past 20 years.

He was a member of the Founding team at NetworkOil in 2000 – an online marketplace for energy equipment - which was acquired by Liquidity Services (NASDAQ:LQDT). He founded RecycleMatch in 2009 and raised a Series A round of Venture Capital for the Company. In 2011 he founded Tru-Markets and sold the company in 2013. He was most recently the VP of Product Management and Global Marketing at Liquidity Services. Early in his career, Chad worked as a Sales Engineer at Cameron Iron Works and was a Management Consultant at Ernst & Young. He is a two time speaker at SXSW and is the Author of two algorithm based patents for the digital appraisals of assets.

We will be meeting at the Houston Technology Center in Midtown on Nov 16th at 6pm
