Open Dharma Budapest - Meditation in a Teahouse
Details
PLEASE RSVP HERE to receive further instructions on how to get in.
This is a donation-based event to support the venue. Every contribution is appreciated, yet not compulsory.
Open Dharma Budapest is a friendly meditation sangha for anyone interested in meditation. Every Sunday we gather for 1–1.5 hours at a local tea house to sit together, share, and support each other on the path.
What to expect: Each session begins with a breathwork and a 30 to 45-minute silent sit, followed by an open, voluntary sharing of our experiences, a space to process what arises in practice, together.
Attention: This is not a guided meditation class. We explore a range of techniques rooted in Theravāda Buddhism, with a modern and pragmatic approach - open to both seasoned practitioners and complete beginners.
Your host: Sessions are hosted by Maria East, a long-term practitioner of Theravāda, Vajrayāna, and Dzogchen. Maria is also a clinical psychologist in training, who is happy to offer additional support if practice brings up anything challenging.
You can donate via the cash donation box or by scanning the Revolut QR code.
Thank you for your support. 🙏.
