What we’re about
OKBEST Exists to promote Engineering, Science, and Technology in the Great State of Oklahoma! While there are many other STEM organizations in the area, OKBEST is different in that we DO NOT CHARGE a participation fee to play our robot game! Our kits (which are divided into two - returnable and consumables) are provided to high school, middle school, and home school organizations at no cost. Our season is an eight week season which begins in early September and runs thru early November.
Volunteer wise - we need folks to join us judging different aspects of the game - presentations, engineering notebooks, spirit and sportsmanship, and of course - the Robot competition!
We where established in 1998 at Oklahoma Christian University. Thru various changes, growth, expansions, and other events that an organization expirences, We now reside at Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
