Thank you for your response to our call for help for OKBEST Robotics.
Please register with https://registry.bestrobotics.org/ as volunteer (the volunteer button is on the second row of options). This will give you access to our group materials
For our upcoming season end event, we have several different in person opportunities. We had planned to use virtual volunteers via zoom or Google meet up. Unfortunately, our community has not made use of the virtual opportunities as we had anticipated. So we don’t have as big in need for folks working virtual. If that is what you had plan to do and you’re not able to do in person, we thank you for the Interest we’re very grateful to you for volunteering and if you’d like, we will try to have a streaming link mailed out to everybody on Game-day this Saturday
These sessions are described below. Please let me know what your available time for these events.
In Person Volunteering
The in person session will happen between 8 and at Rose State College, Traub Elementary, 6500 se 15th st Midwest City, OK 73110.
Volunteers for this event will be working with the scoring crew as either referees or interview judges The referees will be working directly with the student teams to officiate during the completions. Interview judges will be directly interviewing teams The questions on the interviews will come directly from a scoring rubric. All judges will have a set time to conduct their evaluations and then turn in their scores to a head judge. This event will happen at Rose State College, Traub Elementary
