Keeping Your Code Clean with Service Objects

This month our meetup falls on Valentine's Day, and what a perfect day for our special guest speaker: Marcus Morrison, CTO of DateBox.

Marcus and the team at DateBox have been writing and maintaining their core Ruby application for years now, and in this talk Marcus will dive into the common Rails mantra of "fat models and skinny controllers", and show us how we can achieve this using a Service Object--also known as a plain old Ruby object.
