Dodzi Dzakuma is a DevOps engineer working on desktop applications built and programmed in C#. He has experience working with both monolithic applications and legacy systems. This talk goes over advice for modernizing monolithic applications or migrating off of legacy systems by borrowing from the playbooks of microservices and focusing on what makes commands lines like the Windows Shell, PowerShell, and Bash flexible while increasing the portability and integration options of your applications.

While the examples in this presentation focus on issues that affect C# and .NET applications, the principles apply to a majority of development languages.

If you would like to give a talk, contact the group organizers through Meetup, email (organizers@okcsharp.net), Twitter (https://twitter.com/okcsharp), or the Techlahoma Slack (http://www.techlahoma.org/spaces).
