• My decision to leave the corporate world after 25 years.
• Why I chose to do what I do, and how I turned a passion into a business.
• What "freedom" and "success" mean to me.
• How I used my business to also create a "give back" opportunity with "Books By Vets (http://www.booksbyvets.org)".
Bio: Shannon Whittington (https://www.linkedin.com/in/shannonlloyd0) is the owner of Creative Literary Consultants, LLC and is an author coach and consultant for writers. After spending several years working for a publisher, the time came to branch out on her own and develop her own business in the literary world. Shannon works with authors from all backgrounds: from teenagers publishing their first novel, to seasoned professionals looking to advance their career by writing and getting published. In addition to running her business, Shannon is also a wife, homeschooling mother of 2 and has started the not-for-profit project “Books By Vets (http://www.booksbyvets.org)” to help veterans gain therapy through the writing and sharing of their stories, as well as teaching them how to create an income by being published.
