An introduction to Apache POI (the Java API for Microsoft Office Documents)

The goal of this talk is to provide you with examples and resources so you can easily generate spreadsheets and charts using Apache POI. This is really useful for advance reporting in enterprise systems and to be able to replace error-prone and time-consuming workflows that are driven by user's manual entries on spreadsheets.

Former president of the OKC JUG and currently working at Oracle/NetSuite in Oklahoma City. He previously worked developing software at several large enterprises: SAIC, Hertz, Revlon, Dallas Time Herald, and Herlitz.
