Super Easy. Barely an Inconvenience: Building microservices with Quarkus

Details

If you watch tech news, you've probably heard of Quarkus, the JVM microservices framework from Red Hat. Announced last March, the framework was an immediate hit with developers, and with good reason. In this session, we're going to take a look at Quarkus, so you can see what it's all about, and hopefully help answer the question of why you might pick it over one the JVM's many other options.

Speaker: Jason Lee
Jason Lee is a software developer living in the middle of Oklahoma. He has been a professional developer since 1997, using a wide variety of languages, including Java, Kotlin, C/C++, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Delphi, and even a bit of C#. Currently, he is working a contract with a company in Atlanta, helping to build an IoT system using Spring Boot, Kotlin and Azure.

On the personal side, he is married to a beautiful woman and has two kids, who, thankfully, look like their mother.
