Welcome to our first official event of 2026! This month at OKC WebDevs, we will be hosting AJ Alexander who is the owner Madeleine Software and creator of Biscuit. AJ will be discussing "Naming Things — Variables, Functions, Files, Applications, & Companies" where he will present a live demo and share practical advice.

This meetup is in-person at The Verge right across the street from the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum on the 5th floor. Street parking is free. We will go out for dinner and drinks to network afterwards! Location TBD but open to suggestions.

Whether you're new to coding or a seasoned tech enthusiast, this meetup is the perfect chance to connect, unwind, and celebrate our amazing community. Come join us to learn everything from code to design to OKC life, and meet fellow techies in a relaxed, welcoming space.

Interested in speaking at a future event? Hit up Aaron Krauss (@thecodeboss) in the Techlahoma Slack community. Not a part of Slack? Find someone who already is (you will find plenty of such folks at each meetup), and they can invite you. We often have a variety of speaking opportunities, including shorter talks that are a great opportunity for first-time speakers to step out of your comfort zone and get up on the stage.
