Let's Get Started!

Finally the sun and moon have aligned and we are scheduled to meet! How to get started when there's so many things to talk about? Let's keep it up at 10,000ft, and just look a little at a bunch of things. Come down and see some equipment, introduce yourself, meet some new friends, and be boggled by the multitude of ways YouTube and other video blogging tools can work for your project.

We'll lightly review a list of lists, of "all the things" to get something going for you. Have high goals for production value? Well, that's where the expression "let's not make a production out of this" comes from! Let's talk and share what we know. Cameras, lighting, audio, editing, ad-revenue strategies, sponsors, posting/uploading, cross-linking, audience share, "Mille's", getting paid, patreon, do's and don't's, great examples, horrible examples, YouTube Red, PHEW! We'll spend a few minutes showing some equipment with on-screen examples of that equipment used in the real world.

This meetup is your meetup, and is totally customizable to what you need. If all of us don't know it, let's find someone that does. We can also set our next meeting, and next topic based on interest.

Note: Meetup is officially not kid friendly. While we will keep our decorum child-suitable both visually and by behavior etc., children are not allowed to attend by themselves. Its a core meetup.com rule and all meetup group organizers are required to acknowledge it.

After the meeting is over, we can carefully tour the ProtoTEK OKC and get to know our space-sponsor a little bit!
