Day 1 · Arrival in Altay

Day 2 · Altay – Ahe Highway – Hemu Village (208 km)
After breakfast, embark on a scenic 4WD ride through the Altay Mountains, where the picturesque snowy landscapes unfold around you.

The journey to Hemu Village takes approximately 5-6 hours, with stops to take in the breathtaking views along the way. You’ll check into your hotel in Hemu and enjoy a quiet evening, including dinner at your hotel.

Day 3 · Full Day in Hemu
You'll have a full day to explore this fairytale like village, get up early for the breathtaking sunrise veiw, hiking around the snowy forest, wandering around the little wooden houses (Mukeleng) of Daur ethnic group. Without mass tourists, Hemu returns to an other worldly tranquil village.

Afternoon, set out for Jikepulin Ski Resort, where you can feel the rush of adrenaline as you ski across the slopes or take a scenic cable car ride(with your own expense) .

Day 4 · Hemu - Kanas Lake
After breakfast, head to the magical Kanas Lake, one of the most beautiful spots in northern Xinjiang.

Arrive at Kanas in 2-3 hours. In winter, Kanas becomes an majestic snowland. Stop to marvel at the stunning Moon Bay, where the lake curves like a crescent moon, and Wolong Bay, with its tranquil waters reflecting the snowy cliffs above.

Day 5 ·Kanas Lake - Baihaba Village - Habahe County - Burqin
This morning, after breakfast, head to the Fish Viewing Pavilion at Kanas Lake, where the crystal-clear waters reveal the beauty of the lake beneath the surface.

As you travel onward to Burqin, you’ll pass through the Five-Colored Beach, where the colorful sands contrast beautifully with the surrounding snowy terrain, and the Irtysh River, flowing serenely through this isolated winter paradise.

Day 6 · Burqin County – Wulungu Lake National Wetland Park (Fuhai County) – Sea Devil City – Altay
