About us
Okehampton Board Games is an established friendly local group for people who enjoy modern board games. We meet every other Wednesday for a relaxed evening of gaming and good company.
We play a wide variety of modern board games, including strategy, deck-building, worker-placement and many other styles. We advertise planned games in advance for each evening, with other games chosen on the night from our selection or brought along by members.
New members are very welcome, whether you come along on your own or with others. Don't worry if you haven't played the games before ā we'll explain them before we play, and there's always a selection of games available to choose from.
We've been meeting regularly for some time and are now using Meetup to help more people discover the group and join us.
