Expert AMA: Ask the Techlahoma President
Details
What is Techlahoma working on right now?
Join us for a candid update and community-led AMA with Jalen A. Byford, President of the Techlahoma Foundation.
This is your opportunity to hear directly from Jalen about the programs, events, partnerships, and community work currently underway across Techlahoma—and to ask your own questions about how it all comes together.
We’ll discuss:
- Current events and programs, including BSON Bash and the 2026 ThunderPlains Developer Conference
- How Techlahoma is supporting user groups across Oklahoma
- Community partnerships and educational opportunities currently being developed
- Current sponsorship, membership, and member-benefit efforts
- Where organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and member input are most useful right now
- How ideas and feedback move between members, organizers, and the board
This is not a formal presentation. We’ll begin with questions submitted and voted on by the Techlahoma community, then open the floor for live questions.
Jalen is also a CIO at Humana Healthy Horizons, so questions about technology leadership, teams, enterprise IT, careers, and AI are welcome too.
Who should attend?
Techlahoma members, user-group organizers, volunteers, developers, IT professionals, students, sponsors, community partners, and anyone who wants a clearer view of what Techlahoma is doing today.
Jalen will answer from his perspective as Techlahoma President. His responses should not be treated as formal board decisions unless explicitly identified as such.
