Oklahoma City Tennis Connection

Join us on November 8th, from 3-5p, for our launch party, as we host a 105 Mixer at Memorial Park. Come, bring a friend, stay for one game or all the games, meet some new people, play some tennis, pet a dog and have a great time all around.

105 is a live-ball format (with feed), doubles game that you wont be able to get enough of. Skill level willl be accounted for, if you have never played dont worry, come with a "willing to try, can-do' attitude and I guarantee you will win at least one point.

There will be water and pizza.

Tennis balls will be provided, but you will need your own racket.

We will focus on continuous movement and game improvement through play of various olive-ball style games*, depending on player turnout, such as 21, Net Zero, four square, Champs vs. Chumps, King of the Court, and 105.

*to facilitate consistent play for everyone, the ball will be fed into play. If players desire to play regular games (either singles or doubles), or switch to serving rather than feeding, we totally can as long as everyone agrees.

Play level:
NTRP rating 1.0-4.0 (4.5+ please only come if you are willing to play to the level of other players in attendance.)

Notes:

• I will check RSVPS Saturday morning at 8am to plan what drills and exercises we will do

• If you change your mind or cannot make it , please message me so we can pivot accordingly.

• This meetup is intended for personal play development, exercise, and social interaction and fellowship only. Leagues exist if you need to feel hyper competitive or berate other players. I have a no tolerance policy for putting other players down, whether for their play, or any other reason..

• This is not intended to be a group lesson or coaching session. Any facilitation done by myself ir others is strictly to keep the ball in play for as many players as possible to get in as many swings as they can.
