May Public New Moon Ritual
176 Tices Ln, East Brunswick, NJ, USAll we are saying is give peace a chance.
On Saturday evening, May 16th, please join Hands of Change in a New Moon ritual at the Unitarian Society in East Brunswick at 7:00 pm. We will be asking the universe to help us bring peace into this chaotic world with the guidance of the great Celtic gods, Dagda and Cana Cludhmor. By linking the power of music, the universal language, to modern technology, we will bring our prayers for peace to the greater community.
Ren and Epona will be in service.
Suggested donation is $10 per person–more if you can, less if you can’t; no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
If you are able, please bring a potluck snack to share for after our ceremony.
Bright Blessings!
Please let us know you are planning to attend so that we may plan accordingly and have enough materials available for all attendees. RSVP by May 14th to register@handsofchange.org or text 908-505-5564.Add our events on Google Calendar.

Hands of Change Sunday Service at TUS
176 Tices Ln, East Brunswick, NJ, USHands of Change will be presenting a ritual to the congregation of The Unitarian Society at 176 Tices Lane East Brunswick, NJ at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 17th.
In this ritual, we gather to build a sacred meeting place between what we are capable of and what we are becoming. Drawing on the ancient practice of altar-based devotion, participants will co-create a living shrine dedicated to two universal forces.
Participants will be guided to physically construct an altar using symbolic objects, offerings, and written intentions that represent their own abilities, ambitions, and desired paths. Each person will be invited to bring their hidden or underused talents into existence—naming them, claiming them, and placing them into a relationship with opportunity and prosperity.
This ritual centers on alignment, not wishing. Each offering becomes a commitment to action, culminating in a clear next step to carry your skills into real-world prosperity. Participants are encouraged to bring an item representing a personal talent and something that symbolizes success or abundance. (Items will be returned at the close of the service.)
This service will be held in the Sanctuary room of TUS as their regular morning service. All are invited.
In service: Rev. Amara Willey and Magissa Payne

Ishtarfest: Where Inanna Walks -
·OnlineOnlineMemory, Justice, and Sacred Community
Step into the radiance of the Fertile Crescent and rediscover the ancient wisdom that shaped civilization itself. Ishtarfest is a vibrant, community-centered festival dedicated to the Goddess Inanna/Ishtar—Queen of Heaven and Earth, Lady of Love and War, and one of the earliest champions of justice, sovereignty, and sacred order.
For thousands of years, the people of Sumer looked to Inanna for guidance in ethics, leadership, and right relationship. From the first cities—where priests, queens, artisans, and everyday people built orderly, thriving communities—we inherited powerful lessons:- Honor the gods.
- Honor each other.
- Seek justice and balance.
- Cultivate beauty, joy, and connection.
At Ishtarfest, we celebrate these ancient roots while bringing their meaning forward into the modern world. Through workshops, rituals, music, storytelling, and hands-on learning, we explore the gifts of the Fertile Crescent: early moral codes, community responsibility, and the divine spark of innovation that helped humanity flourish.
Inanna herself stands at the heart of this festival—not only as a goddess of love and celebration, but as a warrior of truth and cosmic justice. Her dance between chaos and order reminds us that growth requires both courage and compassion. Myths teach us that progress can sometimes bring backlash, but the power of community and devotion endures.Ishtarfest invites you to:
- Celebrate the stories and mysteries of Inanna/Ishtar
- Explore ancient Sumerian culture, ethics, and spirituality
- Reconnect with the shared pagan roots that nourish us all
- Build community through joy, learning, and ritual
- Embrace the timeless lessons of order, justice, and divine reciprocity
- Come join us as we weave ancient wisdom into a living, thriving present.
Together, we honor the gods. We honor each other. We remember where we came from—and create where we’re going.
