The starting elevation is 3200' and in the first mile we will gain about 400 feet in elevation. At that point we will be on Tanque Verde Ridge. We will follow the ridgeline for about 2 more miles before reaching our destination - Grossman Dome at 4634'
Summiting the dome requires a short scramble to get to the path which goes to the top. Here we will have great views of the surrounding mountain ranges as we take a break and have a snack before heading back down to the parking area.
