Details

CARPOOLING INFO: We will be meeting at the McDonald's at Tanque Verde and Catalina Hwy at 6 am for carpooling. We will rendezvous at the Mint Spring trail head at 7am. There are no restrooms at the trail head. There is an $8 cash day use fee for Mt Lemmon so bring cash or your Coronado Forest year pass.

TURTLE ALERT!

Back in 2003 the Aspen fire burned away all the big, shady trees on this trail but there has been a lot of regrowth in the almost two decades since then. This trail has a lot of alternating up and down. The trailhead for the Mint Springs Trail can be a bit overgrown and hard to find.
This is an out and back hike. We will be taking a snack break at the Marshall Gulch saddle.

Round trip this hike is going to be 3.4 mi with an accumulated elevation gain of 650 ft.

Please bring at least 2L of water, wear proper hiking footwear, and use sun protection. Hiking poles and a snack are recommended as well. This hike is described as a beginner hike but if you don't exercise regularly you will find this hike difficult.

Dogs, firearms, and tobacco/vape products are not allowed on this hike. Please don’t wear any products that have fragrances.

By RSVPing "Yes" to this event you agree not to hold the Organizer and Event Host liable for any injury, death or personal property loss or damage that occurs during the event or in transit to or from the hike.
