Sabino Ramble: Phoneline, Rattlesnake and Esperanza (Intermediate)

Time for a mid week Sabino Canyon Wander! We will meet at the Bear Canyon trailhead in the main parking lot. We will start heading off towards Bear Canyon before heading uphill towards Phoneline Trail. We will go up to the Phoneline Link trail down to Tram Stop 1, cross the road and continue to Rattlesnake Trail. From Rattlesnake we will take Esperanza trail back to the tram road and walk back to the main parking lot.

Turtle Alert! This will be a slower paced hike.

This is not a beginner hike! Please plan accordingly. Round trip this hike is 4.3 miles with an elevation gain of 700 ft.

There is an $8 day use fee. If you have a Coronado Pass or other interagency pass please bring it!

Please bring at least 2L of water, sun protection and a snack. Make sure to wear proper hiking footwear. If you wear snackers you will regret it! As always I recommend using hiking poles.

Dogs, guns and tobacco/vape products are not allowed. Please don't use any products with fragrances including sunscreen and bug spray.
