Beginner ramble: Honeybee Canyon

Time for a nice weekend ramble in the beautiful Sonoran Desert. This is an easy, flat and sandy hike to some petroglyphs. At the end of the trail at the petroglyphs we will take a quick snack break before heading back out the way we came in. We will be hiking up a flat sandy wash so be prepared to get sand in your shoes :)
TURTLE ALERT!
Round trip this hike is about 2.3 mi with a total elevation gain of about 250 ft. After we come back from the Petroglyph trail me and the Turtle may also do the inner loop of Honeybee Canyon which goes through some lovely slightly hilly desert landscape and adds an additional 1.7 mi and 164 ft elevation gain.
Please bring at least 1L of water, wear appropriate hiking footwear and sun protection.
