Marshal Gulch & Aspen loop (easy intermediate)

Me and the Turtle could not make last week’s hike and we want to do it so I am reposting this hike.
Carpooling Info: We’ll meet at the parking lot of McDonalds at Tanque Verde and E Catalina Hwy; leaving at 6:00 am. We will rendezvous at 7:00 am at the Marshal Gulch trailhead.
TURTLE ALERT! This will be a slow paced hike.
We will go up the lovely riparian corridor of the Marshall Gulch trailhead, stop for snacks at the saddle and go back on the Aspen Trail.
This hike is about 4 miles round trip with 860 ft elevation gain. This is not a beginner hike , there is a lot of elevation gain at high altitude.
Please bring at least 2L of water, use sun protection and wear appropriate hiking footwear. If you wear sneakers you will regret it!
No dogs, firearms or tobacco/vape products allowed. Please don’t use products with fragrances, my husband is sensitive to fragrances.
