Warrens of the Penghuni Gua

Details
After returning from the deep subterranean caves beneath Kusavati, the magician Lo Fe met with the Rani’s consort, Bhul Jaresh, to report on what they found beneath the city. To better their odds, Bhul tasked one the Rani’s most fierce bodyguards, the warrior Khaidho, to assist them in their mission going forward. The party’s power was further strengthened when they decided to liberate a roped line of victims captured by the cult of the Elephant God, destined for sacrifice in the great stinking pit in the temple district. One of the freed victims was Temujin, a priest of Horbilog, the Rhinoceros god of sex, death, and dreams. On the run from the cult and grateful for having been saved from certain death, Temujin decided to join his liberators in their return to the Petala underworld. Surely the party is part of the Rhinoceros god’s plans for Temujin!
Upon their return to Petala and march into the Warrens of the Penghuni Gua, however, things got bloody fast. After a pitched battle at a Penghuni Gua outpost, the party was split up and battered nearly unto death. Khaidho and Gle’k were saved by the Golden Wormlings, who allowed them to escape into their tunnel complex, while Lo Fe and Temujin—not fast enough to do likewise—fled to the Dhrev’s cave (the blind dark troll), where they were able to recover a bit and then meet up with Khaidho and Gle’k a day or so later. Having secured an alliance with the Golden Wormlings, the party was escorted through their tunnels to safety in the upper caverns near the inverted waterfall. The party is undeterred, however, and determined to end the Penghuni Gua scourge once and for all. Can they do so in Session 6? We’ll find out on Sunday!
